Job Summary
Springfield School District (Delco) is seeking a Debate Club Advisor at Springfield HighSchool.
The Debate Club Advisor provides guidance support and supervision for students participating in the Debate Club. The advisor helps students develop critical thinking public speaking and research skills through structured practices discussions and competitions. Advisors will
- Organize and supervise club meetings and attend events.
- Teach and reinforce debate formats rules and strategies.
- Coordinate and register students for local state and/or national competitions.
- Support student-led initiatives including topic selection research and practice debates.
Manage club logistics including scheduling transportation communication with parents and budget/expenditures.
