We are seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Quality Control Technician with a strong background in the meat or food industry in Tracy CA. The ideal candidate will be responsible for ensuring all products meet company standards industry regulations and customer requirements for quality and safety.

Job Title: Quality Control Technician

Pay Rate: $22-$25/hr

Schedule: 1st shift- 5:30 AM - 2:00 PM

Key Responsibilities

Maintain accurate and organized quality control records and documentation.
Collaborate with production and warehouse teams to ensure cConduct inspections and testing of raw materials in-process production and finished goods to verify compliance with company quality standards and food safety regulations.
Monitor and document sanitation safety and handling practices within production areas.
Perform daily checks on product specifications such as temperature weight packaging labeling and overall quality.
Report and address non-conformances deviations or quality issues immediately to supervisors and recommend corrective actions.
Support HACCP GMP and other food safety and regulatory programsonsistent product quality and compliance with customer expectations.
Assist in internal and external audits as needed.

Qualifications

Required: Prior experience in quality control within the meat or food processing industry.
Knowledge of HACCP GMP USDA and FDA regulations.
Strong attention to detail with the ability to identify issues and take corrective action.
Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
Ability to work in cold or refrigerated environments and follow all safety protocols.

Working Conditions

Work performed in a food manufacturing and refrigerated plant environment.
Standing walking and lifting up to 50 lbs may be required.
Flexible schedule including weekends or evenings may be necessary based on production needs.
