Singapore is the regional headquarters for INGs Wholesale Banking (WB) business in Asia which includes all WB business lines such as Financial Markets Strategic Products Sectors Lending and Transaction Services and other support functions.
Department Overview
We offer internship opportunities across multiple Wholesale Banking teams and locations. This role focuses on position within Financial Markets.
Global Securities Finance (GSF) sits within Financial Markets with trading desks in New York London Amsterdam and Singapore. Our mandate spans Fixed Income Repo and Equity Financing across 40 markets.
Duties and responsibilities
This internship offers handson exposure to Securities Finance and its role within Financial Markets.
You will:
Run essential routinesrisk checks reporting packs and concise market summaries.
Partner closely with traders to support risk management refine trading strategies and validate P&L.
Maintain and improve existing processes potentially contributing to a broader
Automation or analytics project with measurable impact for the desk.
Build practical fluency in executing trades within mandateefficiently profitably and in full compliance.

Excellent interpersonal communication
Fundamental understanding of global financial markets
Strong command of Excel (VBA a plus) and proficiency in Python
