Senior Analytical Chemist
Location: Norcross GA
Job Type: Full-Time
Compensation: $70000$75000 per year

Position Summary
Lighthouse Lab Services is representing a privately owned GMP/FDA-regulated analytical laboratory located in the Norcross GA area that is seeking a Senior Analytical Chemist to join their growing team. This individual will perform advanced chromatographic and analytical testing (HPLC GC-MS UV-Vis ICP-MS) in support of product development validation and quality control efforts.
The ideal candidate will have strong technical expertise in analytical chemistry methods experience working in a GMP or regulated environment and the ability to independently develop and validate analytical methods.
Key Responsibilities
Perform analytical testing on a wide range of sample types using HPLC GC-MS UV-Vis ICP-MS and related instrumentation.
Develop optimize and validate analytical methods in compliance with GMP ISO and ICH guidelines.
Analyze interpret and document analytical data in laboratory notebooks and electronic systems.
Prepare analytical reports certificates of analysis and client summaries.
Coordinate equipment maintenance calibration and qualification activities.
Collaborate with project leaders to prioritize and schedule testing for timely delivery.
Ensure all work adheres to company SOPs safety standards and regulatory requirements.
Identify process improvements and contribute to continual quality enhancement initiatives.
Qualifications
Bachelors or Masters degree in Chemistry or a related scientific field.
Minimum 5 years of hands-on analytical laboratory experience using HPLC GC-MS and UV-Vis.
Experience with ICP-MS required.
Strong understanding of method development and validation processes.
Excellent analytical organizational and problem-solving skills.
Demonstrated ability to maintain accurate laboratory documentation and reports.
Familiarity with GMP FDA and ICH regulations preferred.
Proficiency with Microsoft Excel and Word.
