On behalf of Gasum Group MARPRO is looking for aSales Manager with passion for Maritime & Shipping and genuine interest in its sustainable solutions. You will join the team of 10 sales professionals distributed over 4 locations and will sell fuel / energy solutions to the maritime industry. You will be stationed in Hamburg and report to the Vice President Maritime.
Main Responsibilities
You identify and follow up on leads with focus on spot opportunities
You develop maritime short- and long-term business opportunities into sales contracts
You actively manage assigned accounts and sales while keeping an eye on customer satisfaction
You represent and market Gasum at different venues e.g. maritime fairs and conferences
You are in close contact / dialogue with relevant internal stakeholders to ensure compliance and coordinated sales with Gasum profitability in mind
You act as project manager / owner in various strategic programs
You take an active role in developing the ways of working in the maritime team
Professional Competencies
You have a relevant education to support the success as maritime sales manager
You bring relevant experience in sales preferably from within the maritime & shipping sector and fuel trade
You are well-versed with standard IT applications including MS Office 365
You are proficient in English and German (oral and written)
You are willing to travel domestically and internationally
Personal characteristics
You have a talent and skill for building and maintaining relationships
You are a very good communicator
You posses dependable organizational skills
You are goal-oriented and result-driven: you get things done
When you faces challenges you focus on opportunities and solutions
You are a team player who has always shared interests in mind
