Employment Type: Full-time

Work Arrangement: Hybrid (4 days/week in-person)

About the Role

Our client is a rapidly growing legal tech company (10x growth since launch in April 2024) backed by top-tier firms like Sequoia and Redpoint. Their mission is to make justice radically more accessible by building the infrastructure to automate administrative legal work starting with personal injury. They combine expert operations with purpose-built AI to handle everything from client intake to demand management.

They are looking for a product-minded Software Engineer who wants to solve high-impact problems with urgency and ownership. You will be instrumental in turning the chaos of paper-based legal bottlenecks into clarity using well-designed systems and thoughtful software.

What Youll Do

Own Major Features: Design build and ship production-grade end-to-end systems across core workflows from architecture through release.
Collaborate Cross-Functionally: Partner closely with product operations design and legal experts to define and deliver real-world impact.
Move Fast Safely: Build systems with integrated safety observability and performance from the start moving quickly without sacrificing quality.
Help Set the Standard: Influence the engineering culture stack and practices of the company from the ground up.
Work Onsite: Join the team in-person 4 days/week in NYC for high-context fast-moving collaboration.

Requirements

3 years of experience in full-stack engineering building reliable secure software in production.
Comfortable working full-stack (Python/Django React AWS OpenAI & more).
Write clean maintainable code and care deeply about testing observability and performance.
Thrive in ambiguous environments and take pride in figuring things out.
Care as much about product outcomes as you do about technical decisions.

Benefits

Salary: $160K - $250K (Flexible for exceptional talent.)
Equity: Competitive
