As part of our team youll gain exposure to projects that improve the places where people live work and gather. Youll be surrounded by professionals who are eager to share their knowledge and help you discover what inspires you most in the field of architectural engineering.

MSA internships are typically at least 12 weeks in duration ranging from mid-May 2026 to mid-August 2026 with start/exit dates confirmed later in the hiring process. For architectural students seeking consulting experience with building projects this is the position for you! Additionally an internship at MSA provides you with a collaborative environment across the firm among the 40 interns each summer.

Responsibilities

What you will do:

  • Works under the direction of senior staff taking on work as assigned.
  • Architectural drawings using Revit.
  • Monitors work effort to perform tasks within the budgeted time provided by the project plan and supervisor.
  • Review drawings and provide feedback.
  • Attend project meetings and engage in team discussions.

Qualifications

What you bring:

  • Pursuing a Masters degree in Architecture.

  • Experience with Revit preferred.

  • Experience with Adobe Creative Suite.
  • Experience with Microsoft Office applications preferred.

  • Superb written verbal and visual communication skills with colleagues and clients at all levels.

  • Strong interpersonal skills and a team-oriented mindset where knowledge sharing and collaboration come naturally.

  • Excellent planning and organizational skills with the ability to coordinate information across disciplines in a fast-paced environment.

  • Demonstrated technical focus and attention to detail.

The salary for this position ranges from $21 to $25 per year commensurate with experience. Higher compensation within this range will be paid to candidates with significant experience and exceptional qualifications.
