As a member of the security services team you will play a key role in the design development and operation of the cloud security services that power the Netskope Security Cloud. You will work across development research and product management teams to craft innovative solutions to the most challenging problems our customers face and use your passion for and expertise in threat protection malware detection web security and network security to help drive the continued evolution of our market-leading products. What you will be doing
Investigate and identify the malware detection gaps in Netskope and provide the solution to address those gaps
- Develop expertise in our cloud security solutions and use that expertise and your experience to help design and qualify the solution as a whole
- Contribute to design and building a flexible reliable and scalable automation solution
- Work closely with the research and product team to help create an amazing user experience
- Gain deep knowledge of our application stack
- Help create and implement deployment processes and requirements
- Experience improving the performance of micro-services and solve scaling/performance issues
- Coordinate with cross team to ensure the application deployment successful
- Develop innovative ways to smartly measure monitor & report application and infrastructure health
- Help capacity management and planning based on the requirements
- Function well in a fast-paced and rapidly-changing environment
- Identify and communicate risks about our releases. Look beyond your specific area of responsibility and ensure our solutions deliver value to our customers
- Be able to own and make quality decisions for the solution
- Own the release and be a customer advocate
- Respond to customer escalations and bug fixing
Qualifications/Requirements
- 8 years threat protection industrial experience strong domain knowledge about malware detection and reverse engineering are required
- Experience in micro service development implementation on big data infrastructure platforms as ( but not limited to) dataflowflink spark
- 5 years of experience in the field of software development track record showing that you are a highly motivated individual capable of coming up with creative innovative and working solutions in a collaborative environment
- Strong Python and/or Java/C/C programming skills; Ability to deliver clean well-tested production-ready code with thorough unit test coverage
- Malware detection experience is plus
- Experience on streaming service implementation like apache beam flink
- Strong knowledge about shell script helm chart /terraform development
- Good experience to build up CI/CD pipeline by leveraging jenkins/github action etc
- Understand public cloud technologies like AWS GCP and native cloud application work nature AWS preferred
- Strong knowledge of linux systems
- Experience with Databases (SQL and NoSQL) Messaging queue system and big data processing technologies is a big plus
- Comfortable with ambiguity and taking the initiative regarding issues and decisions
- Ability to lead a team to design implement and deliver the desired features
- Experience to leverage AI technology to assist software development is plus
- Experience on AI related technology like LLM vector DB RAG AI Agent development is plus
Education
- BS or MS in Computer Science or equivalent technical degree
