Coupang Global Security (CGS) is seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Senior Data Analyst Specialist to support our growing data and analytics needs. This role is critical in enabling data-driven decision-making across our global security operations with a strong focus on supporting the Taiwan-based team.
The ideal candidate will be passionate about data experienced in transforming complex datasets into actionable insights and proficient in building intuitive dashboards and visualizations that drive operational excellence.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather analyze and interpret data to support security operations and strategic initiatives.
- Design develop and maintain interactive dashboards and reports using tools such as Power BI Tableau or equivalent.
- Translate business requirements into data models and visualizations that provide clear actionable insights.
- Conduct deep-dive analyses to identify trends anomalies and opportunities for process improvement.
- Support the Taiwan-based Global Security team with timely and accurate data reporting and analytics.
- Ensure data accuracy consistency and integrity across all reporting platforms.
- Automate recurring reports and streamline data workflows to improve efficiency.
- Present findings and recommendations to stakeholders in a clear and compelling manner.
- Maintain documentation of data sources methodologies and dashboard logic for transparency and reproducibility.
Qualifications
- Bachelors degree in Data Science Statistics Computer Science Business Analytics or a related field.
- 5 years of experience in data analysis business intelligence or a similar role.
- Proficiency in SQL and data visualization tools (e.g. Power BI Tableau Looker).
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to work with large complex datasets.
- Experience with data modeling ETL processes and data warehousing concepts.
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to explain technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced dynamic environment.
- Experience working in a global or cross-cultural team environment is a plus.
- Intermediate spoken and written English.
Preferred Skills & Tools
- Python or R for data analysis and automation.
- Familiarity with cloud platforms (e.g. AWS GCP Azure) and data pipeline tools.
- Knowledge of security operations or risk management data is a plus.
- Experience with KPI development and performance tracking.
