Job Summary

We are currently seeking an Accounts Payable Administrator to join our Boart Longyear team in West Valley Utah. The individual in this role will support the end-to-end procure-to-pay process through accurate invoice intake routing matching and payment preparation. This role maintains vendor records resolves routine discrepancies and provides responsive service to internal teams and suppliers.
Responsibilities
- Manage end-to-end invoice processing: intake routing accurate coding and 2/3-way PO/receipt matching; clear holds and missing receipts.
- Prepare and process payments (check ACH wire) on schedule; optimize terms/discounts and prevent late fees.
- Serve as the escalation point for vendor inquiries; resolve discrepancies and disputes while maintaining strong supplier relationships.
- Collaborate with Procurement Receiving and other teams to clear variances and keep processes running smoothly.
- Reconcile the AP subledger to the general ledger clear reconciling items and support month- quarter- and year-end accruals.
- Maintain complete AP documentation; produce aging and cash-requirements/forecast reports and other periodic AP reports.
- Enforce policies and internal controls mitigate AP risks and provide required documentation for internal and external audits.
- Upload AP data from Oracle to analyze banking payment errors and invoice bookings.
Minimum Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent required; an associates or bachelors degree in accounting finance or a related field is a plus.
- 1-3 years of experience in accounts payable or general accounting.
- Proficiency in accounting software (e.g. QuickBooks SAP Oracle) and Microsoft Excel.
- Familiarity with general ledger systems and accounts payable processes.
- Attention to Detail: Strong accuracy self-management and organizational skills.
- Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication abilities.
- Problem-Solving: Proactive in resolving discrepancies and managing vendor relationships.
