- Support monthly quarterly and annual financial close processes ensuring accuracy and timeliness.
- Develop and maintain financial models to support budgeting forecasting and long-term planning.
- Analyze financial performance identify trends and provide actionable insights to senior leadership.
- Collaborate with operations sales and marketing teams to align financial goals with business strategies.
- Prepare variance analyses and explain deviations from budget and forecast.
- Assist in the preparation of board presentations investor reports and executive summaries.
- Monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) specific to hospitality operations (e.g. RevPAR ADR occupancy rates).
- Ensure compliance with GAAP and internal controls.
- Participate in system upgrades and process improvement initiatives.
Qualifications:
- Bachelors degree in Accounting Finance or related field; CPA or MBA preferred.
- 35 years of accounting and FP&A experience ideally within the hospitality sector in NYC.
- Strong understanding of hospitality financial metrics and operational drivers.
- Proficiency in financial software (e.g. NetSuite QuickBooks Oracle SAP) and advanced Excel skills.
- Experience with BI tools (e.g. Power BI Tableau) is a plus.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet tight deadlines.
