The purpose of the Special Operations Forces Information Technology Enterprise Contract (SITEC) 3 Enterprise Operations and Maintenance (EOM) Task Order (TO) is to provide USSOCOM its Component Commands its Theater Special Operations Commands (TSOCs) and its deployed forces with Operations and Maintenance (O&M) services to maintain Network Operations (NetOps); maintain systems and network infrastructure; provide end user and common device support; provide configuration change license and asset management; conduct training and perform Install Move Add Change (IMACs) services. The responsibilities and tasks associated with each requirement play a pivotal role to USSOCOM the CIO/J6 organization and ultimately the end-user who operate around the globe 24x7x365.
The Cloud Systems Engineer will be tasked with the provision of Global Enterprise IT services specifically focusing the design and management of the core cloud infrastructure. With a deep understanding of AWS & Azure service such as EC2/Azure Virtual Machines VPC/Virtual Networks and S3/Storage addition to these responsibilities the Cloud Engineer create and maintain the foundational elements that support cloud applications and services. The Engineer is expected to deliver Tier 3 level support to SITEC 3 EOM mission partners. This critical support role involves the diagnosis troubleshooting and resolution of system outages all while guaranteeing optimal service uptime and mission operational capabilities.
The Cloud Systems Engineer is a pivotal role within our IT infrastructure team providing tier three systems support in line with the SIE OPORD. This position demands a comprehensive understanding of government PAAS SAAS coupled with advanced skills in analysis troubleshooting and system design. Effective communication with both technical and non-technical stakeholders is a critical component of this role. The engineer will be integral to the systems engineering process leveraging data for performance enhancement and participating actively in working groups design reviews and system testing.
