Job Summary

Job Title: Adjunct Faculty School of Engineering

Classification: Faculty (Institutional Support)
Reports To: Dean School of Engineering and Computing
Location: Kuwait City Kuwait

Job Purpose
American International University (AIU) is seeking qualified adjunct faculty members to teach undergraduate courses in the School of Engineering for the academic year. The successful candidates will contribute to AIUs mission by delivering high-quality instruction mentoring students and fostering an engaging collaborative and inclusive learning environment.

Key Responsibilities
Teach undergraduate courses in one or more Engineering disciplines including Civil Mechanical Electrical Computer Chemical and Biomedical Engineering or other related fields
Develop and deliver course materials that integrate current industry practices and emerging technologies
Support student learning through active engagement mentorship and academic advising
Collaborate with other faculty members to enhance course delivery and curriculum effectiveness
Maintain academic standards and adhere to AIU policies and procedures

Required Skills and Qualifications
Excellent communication and instructional skills in English (language of instruction is English)
Demonstrated commitment to teaching excellence and student success
Ability to apply real-world engineering concepts in the classroom
Strong organizational and interpersonal skills

Education and Experience
Masters degree or Ph.D. in Engineering or a closely related field required
University-level teaching experience preferred
Relevant professional or industry experience desirable
