Job Title: Part-Time Faculty Electrical Engineering (Immediate Start)

Classification: Faculty (Institutional Support)
Reports To: Dean School of Engineering and Computing
Location: Kuwait City Kuwait

Job Purpose
American International University (AIU) is seeking dynamic and engaged part-time faculty to teach undergraduate courses in Electrical and Computer Engineering (ECE) within the School of Engineering and Computing. The successful candidate will contribute to AIUs mission by delivering relevant high-quality instruction and mentoring students in a diverse collaborative academic environment.

Key Responsibilities
Teach undergraduate courses in one or more areas of Electrical and Computer Engineering such as:
- Controls Power Systems and Renewable Energy
- Communications Digital Signal Processing and Electromagnetics
- Cyber-Physical Systems Internet of Things Robotics Microcomputers and Advanced Digital Design
- Core undergraduate courses including Electrical Circuits Electronics and Digital Design
Develop and deliver engaging industry-informed course materials
Integrate applied learning and modern engineering technologies into instruction
Support student learning and success through mentorship and feedback
Collaborate with colleagues across disciplines to enhance academic quality and student engagement


Required Skills and Qualifications
Excellent communication and instructional skills in English (language of instruction is English)
Demonstrated teaching excellence in Electrical and Computer Engineering
Ability to incorporate current technologies and applications into teaching
Commitment to inclusive teaching and cross-disciplinary collaboration

Education and Experience
Masters degree in Electrical Engineering or a closely related field required; Ph.D. preferred
University-level teaching experience preferred
Professional or applied experience in Electrical Engineering desirable
