We are seeking a bilingual (English/Spanish) Operations Supervisor with experience in Finance & Accounting (Accounts Payable/Receivable) JIT operations and team leadership. The role involves performance management client communication and driving process improvements. Transition/migration experience and 24/7 availability are required. Automotive industry knowledge and Excel skills are a plus.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
- Responsible for leading coaching developing analysts & Team leader.
- Demonstrable 2 years JIT (Just in time) background is a must.
- Experience in managing a team within the Finance & Accounting field is desirable.
- Strong Accounts Payable & Receivable background.
- Ensures customer SLA / KPI are met by overseeing operations of respective accounting teams.
- Conducts performance management (e.g. goal setting performance evaluation etc.)
- Completes performance evaluations for assigned staff.
- Ensures rigor of discipline in implementation by creating high performance work cultures built on best practices.
- Handles various activities within the teams with key focus on adherence to the SLAs & SOPs through knowledge-based implementations for enhanced operational effectiveness.
- Participates in business related discussions with the client and other internal team.
- Responsible to address any client escalations.
- Ability to handle and manage pressure and client deliveries.
- Proposes transformation initiatives to continuously improve customer satisfaction.
- Evaluates processes out of compliance identifies root causes and enforces solutions to address non-compliant
- Finance and accounting background is required.
- 24/7 Schedule availabity.
- Transition / Migration background is a must.
Qualifications:
- Bachelors degree in Finance or Accounting.
- Minimum 1-2 years related work experience with medium to large-sized company.
- Experience applying finance and accounting principles is essential.
- Experience with SAP & Accounting Systems
Knowledge and Skills:
- Experience with JD Edwards/Oracle and Tungsten financial applications is highly preferred.
- Must have excellent interpersonal organization verbal & written communication skills.
- Fluent (written and verbal) in English language.
- Must have great spreadsheet and analytical skills.
- Experienced in Microsoft Excel Word & PowerPoint.
- Must be detail-oriented.
- Must be able to work under tight timelines prioritizing assignments as needed.
- Must work independently with tasks assigned.
- Must be able to type proficiently.
Work Environment:
- Office environment.
- Flexible with work schedule to accommodate business hours in the Eastern United States Latin America and Europe which may include working hours outside of local business hours during training and pre-specified events (such as month-end and quarter-end deadlines).
