Kendrick Recruitment is seeking a detail-oriented and organised Housekeeping and Maintenance Administrator to join a luxury hotel in the Western Cape. This role is key to ensuring smooth administrative support for both housekeeping and maintenance departments contributing to the delivery of exceptional guest experiences.
Key Responsibilities:
Provide administrative support to the Housekeeping and Maintenance teams
Maintain accurate records of maintenance requests schedules and follow-ups
Assist with stock control ordering and inventory management of housekeeping supplies
Track room readiness cleanliness standards and maintenance tasks in coordination with department heads
Log guest requests and ensure timely communication to relevant teams
Prepare reports on departmental performance maintenance trends and stock usage
Support compliance with health safety and hygiene standards
Coordinate with other departments to ensure efficient operations and guest satisfaction
Requirements:
Previous experience in an administrative role within hospitality or a similar environment
Strong organisational and time-management skills with attention to detail
Excellent communication skills both written and verbal
Proficiency in Microsoft Office and property management systems (PMS) advantageous
Ability to multitask and manage priorities in a fast-paced environment
Professional reliable and guest-focused approach
