The Miorin Team is seeking a highly motivated Postdoctoral Fellow to investigate virushost interactions that drive pathogenesis with a particular emphasis on airway biology and antiviral defense. This role offers the opportunity to pursue cutting-edge virology and cell biology in a collaborative well-resourced environment.
Responsibilities- Lead independent and collaborative projects on respiratory virushost mechanisms.
- Apply molecular virology advanced cell culture systems (ALI and iPSC-derived models) microscopy proteomics and in vivo mouse models.
- Analyze data write manuscripts and present at lab meetings and conferences.
- Help mentor students and contribute to a supportive lab culture.
Qualifications
- Ph.D. (or equivalent) in Virology Immunology Molecular/Cell Biology or a related field.
- Strong foundation in molecular virology cell biology or immunology.
- Preferred experience in one or more: respiratory viruses; cilia/airway epithelial models; microscopy; mouse models of infection.
- Excellent communication skills; self-driven; team-oriented.
