Job Summary

Midwest multi-disciplined engineering firm is looking to add an Automation Engineer to their Naperville team!

Responsibilities:

Responsible for the design installation commissioning and testing process and instrumentation & control systems (SCADA)
Collaborate with internal departments including information technology engineering and operations
Provide project management manage teams and ensure quality control during all phases of project
Provide instrumentation & control design services for water/wastewater treatment facilities pumping stations and related facilities
Onsite work for municipal clients (instrumentation configuration installation assistance and control system and process start-up/testing
On-call 24/7 (rotate weekly) to troubleshoot instrumentation/control issues

Requirements:

B.S. degree in Electrical Engineering or Electrical Engineering Technology
5 years of experience as an Electrical/Controls Engineer performing design programming installation and startup tasks
Programming experience using PLCs SCADA and OITs software
Experience using various products (Concentric Integration primarily include Allen-Bradley SLC MicroLogix CompactLogix ControlLogix PanelView Rockwell FactoryTalk View GE iFIX Inductive Automation Ignition Wonderware System Platform InTouch and other hardware/software)
Advanced computer skills
Auto CAD/Visio experience preferred
