We are seeking an experienced Operations Supervisor to join our team in Perth WA. This role is responsible for overseeing cargo survey operations laboratory support and specific contract deliverables with a focus on ensuring compliance operational efficiency and safety. The successful candidate will play a key role in managing specific contract activities while also supporting wider operational needs.
Responsibilities include however not limited to flowing:
- Act as remote cargo surveyor during dayshifts collaborating with the offshore lab team to validate custody transfer activities.
- Lead offtake communications with customer OLC teams laboratory agent and buyers. This will include:
- Verify compliance of cargo documentation and support pre-load requirements.
- Receive carrier cargo documents cross-check documentation for compliance organise inspection and reporting.
- Coordinate with terminals buyers and carriers to ensure relevant tasks and inquiries addressed before finalising the report.
- Support production chemistry tasks as directed by the Production Chemistry Lead.
- Manage the laboratory roster including mobilisation/demobilisation timesheets and approval for invoicing.
- Oversee scope of work deliverables including personnel BPR KPI (HSSE & performance) and contract management requirements.
- Occasional offshore short-term travel may be required.
- Manage client orders assign jobs track progress and report to clients.
- Support financial processes including frontloading sales orders in Oracle/BOSS submitting invoicing reports and assisting with monthly reconciliations.
- Organise and utilise SGS global systems (SIR/SAT SOL etc.) and client platforms as required.
Qualifications :
The ideal candidate will have:
- Experienced and preferably IFIA-accredited Qualified Surveyor/Inspector (IFIA accreditation is an advantage).
- Proven experience in LNG LPG and condensate cargo inspections.
- Strong planning time management and resource management skills.
- Excellent communication and organisational abilities.
- Valid Australian drivers licence.
- Ability to obtain and maintain a Maritime Security Identification Card (MSIC).
- Experience with different vessel types and cargo operations.
- General knowledge of the shipping industry (desirable).
