Description

Our client a leading European biotechnology company is seeking an experienced Human Resources Manager to establish and lead their people operations in Taiwan. This role offers the opportunity to build a comprehensive HR framework from inception while supporting the organizations ambitious growth plans across the Asia-Pacific market.

The company manufactures premium laboratory equipment and biotechnology solutions serving diverse clients throughout the region. What Youll Do

HR Operations Leadership

  • Serve as the central HR contact point for all Taiwan-based team members
  • Develop and execute comprehensive HR processes from inception
  • Manage all aspects of HR administration talent acquisition and employee growth programs

Cross-Cultural Collaboration

  • Bridge operational methodologies between European and Asian business practices
  • Partner closely with the German People & Culture division to maintain organizational alignment
  • Maintain confidential working relationships with department leaders and Managing Director

Innovation & Strategic Development

  • Develop KPIs and analytics to track HR effectiveness
  • Champion people-centric initiatives including cultural transformation and leadership development programs
  • Spearhead the deployment of HR management systems
  • Research and deploy process enhancements and digital HR technologies

Talent Management & Growth

  • Support career advancement and professional development programs
  • Spearhead recruitment initiatives to fuel rapid organizational expansion
  • Design comprehensive onboarding experiences that embody company principles





Requirements

  • Education: Degree in Human Resources Business Administration or equivalent professional experience in people leadership
  • Language Skills: Native-level proficiency in both English and Mandarin Chinese
  • Experience: Proven HR background ideally within medium-scale international organizations
  • Technical Expertise: Familiarity with HR technology platforms (Personio experience advantageous)
  • Industry Background: Previous experience in manufacturing life sciences or laboratory equipment sectors
  • Legal Knowledge: Comprehensive understanding of Taiwan employment regulations and HR compliance requirements
  • Cross-Cultural Competency: Demonstrated ability to navigate effectively between European and Asian business environments
