Job Summary
Mon to Fri: 8:15am to 5:30pm
Responsibilities:
- Leads new product design development activities of connectors wire harness and electronic packages.
- Responsible for managing pre-engineering product design development of new products.
- Performs value analysis value engineering and troubleshooting.
- Manage a team of Product Design engineers and responsible for products lifecycle.
- Guide team in performing data analysis yield enhancement product cost reduction and device reliability improvement.
- Develop market-specific connector products and optimizing product designs and yields.
- Initiate and implement improvement processes to improve efficiency and sustainability in productions.
- Communicate technical information to non-technical stakeholders and building relationships with suppliers and customers.
- Ensure processes meet quality standards and safety compliance requirements.
Requirements:
- Degree / Diploma in Mechanical Engineering/ Electrical Engineering and or other related certifications.
- Possess relevant connectors industry knowledge and expertise
- At least 8 years of experience involved with product engineering (design and development)
- Experienced in leading a team
