Job Title: SAP HR Payroll Expert
Location: Braga/Coimbra Portugal
Work Regime: Full-time & Hybrid (1x office per week)
Overview / Summary:
We are looking for a SAP HR Payroll Expert to join our team!
Responsibilities and Tasks:
- Manage payroll activities including time reporting input preparation and payroll output verification;
- Ensure accurate and timely salary payments;
- Support internal and external payroll-related audits;
- Execute internal controls and salary review processes;
- Handle employee inquiries and escalations regarding payroll matters;
- Monitor monthly payroll performance risks and issues implementing mitigation actions;
- Prepare and deliver reports to cross-functional teams and leadership;
- Actively contribute to process improvement initiatives;
- Take responsibility for own deliverables support team decisions and provide problem-solving input;
- Provide status updates and respond to questions in internal meetings and when applicable in client interactions with management-level stakeholders.
Requirements
Mandatory Requirements:
- Solid experience in end-to-end payroll processing for Portugal including statutory reporting and compliance with local labor and tax laws;
- Experience with SAP HCM and SuccessFactors especially in payroll and time management modules (mandatory);
- Strong analytical and numerical skills;
- Experience working in a shared services or BPO environment is a plus;
- Familiarity with HR processes and systems integration especially how payroll interacts with time tracking benefits and employee master data;
- Fluency in Portuguese and English (writen and spoken).
