ABOUT THE CLIENT:

Pool Pro is a trusted name in Australia s pool and spa industry providing high-quality products expert advice and strong support to our franchisees and customers. We re on a mission to strengthen our online presence and drive sustainable digital growth and we re looking for an experienced SEO Specialist to join our team.

JOB SUMMARY:

The Social Media Specialist will be responsible for planning creating and managing engaging content across Pool Pro s social media platforms. This role requires a balance of strategic planning creative content production and performance tracking to ensure campaigns align with seasonal priorities and business goals. The ideal candidate is both creative and analytical skilled in design copywriting and video editing while also confident in measuring results and optimising performance.


KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

    Develop monthly social media plans and campaigns across multiple platforms and accounts including Meta (Facebook and Instagram) LinkedIn Pinterest TikTok and YouTube.

    Plan content a minimum of 3 months in advance to align with campaigns seasonal priorities and business goals.

    Write engaging copy for social media posts.

    Design eye-catching graphics using Canva.

    Produce and edit short-form videos using Canva Adobe Premiere Pro or related editing software.

    Collaborate with the marketing team to brainstorm and co-create ideas ensuring content reflects Pool Pro and other brands identity.

    Provide regular updates and insights on social media performance.




Requirements

REQUIREMENTS:

    Minimum 2-3 years of experience as a Social Media Specialist.

    Proficient in Canva across different templates.

    Able to develop posts reels and short-form videos across multiple platforms including Meta (Facebook and Instagram) LinkedIn Pinterest TikTok and YouTube.

    Basic filming and editing skills in Adobe Premiere Pro or related software.

    Strong copywriting skills for engaging social captions with an eye for details grammar and punctuation.

    Experience with Planable or similar social media scheduling software.



Social Media Specialist Tasks

Brand Scope of Work

  • Pool Pro (Main Brand)

    • For the main Pool Pro social media channels the Social Media Specialist will develop a monthly social media calendar planned 3 4 months in advance. This will include:

      • 3 posts per week and 5 stories per week on Meta including 1 lifestyle post 1 educational carousel and 1 product-focused post.

      • 2 posts per month on LinkedIn.

      • 1 post per week on Pinterest.

      • 2 3 TikTok videos per month also sharable on YouTube and Meta platforms.

      • Engaging copy and hashtags for each post.


  • Pool Pro Franchise

  1. Pool Pro Wynnum/Manly

  2. Pool Pro Logan

  • For franchise social media channels the Social Media Specialist will develop a monthly social media calendar planned 3 4 months in advance. This will include:

    • Content from Pool Pro (Main Brand) for Meta adapted for the franchise account.

    • Additional local content specific to each franchise including 1 extra post per week on Meta highlighting the shop (e.g. installations before/after projects servicing or water-testing).



  • Marketing Hub / Content for B2B Customers
    As time allows the Social Media Specialist will create a library of generic social media assets for certain products or product categories. This includes:


    • Social media tiles with captions and hashtags.

    • Website banners.

The goal is to provide a range of ready-to-use content that can be chosen and reused by B2B customers.

At least 3 + years experience in Digital Marketing Intermediate Word and Excel skills Excellent oral and written communication skills Knowledge of relevant marketing tools and applications Experienced in Web Development and Designing Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines CRM & Email Marketing: Intermediate to advanced skills in Zoho (or similar). We're keen on leveraging this platform even more. WordPress Publishing: Whilst the primary responsibility is publishing articles and blogs, development capability would be an advantage. Design: Intermediate skills in Canva. Social Media: Beginner to intermediate skills. Our focus is on promoting our great work rather than being overly complex. SEO: While we use an external firm for SEO, you'll need to understand how to execute on their instructions and publish according to their guidelines. Analytics and Reporting: Monthly reporting of the success of our marketing efforts across all channels. Strong Organizational Skills: You'll have a lot of balls to juggle, so the ability to prioritize and excel in internal communications is essential.
