Job Summary
This is a remote position.
Experience in Australian Tax dealing with private clients and small business minimum of 3 years.
Experience using Xero.
Experience in using Class Super (not essential but preferable).
Will be reporting directly to a Partner so need to be able to work relatively autonomously.
Preparation of special purpose financials in Xero for Companies Trusts and Partnerships. Including collection of working paper files.
Preparation of income tax returns for entities as well as individuals.
Drafting year end letters and email correspondence.
Attending to corporate secretarial.
Requirements
SKILLS & QUALIFICATIONS:
Bachelor s degree in Accounting Finance or related field.
CA or CPA qualification (completed or in final stages)
3 5 years experience in a public practice accounting firm.
Solid understanding of Australian taxation financial reporting and compliance standards.
Strong technical skills in Xero MYOB or similar accounting software.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Detail-oriented organised and capable of managing multiple deadlines.
Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a small agile team environment.

At least 4 + years experience in Bookkeeping or accounting Xero and Xero Payroll Certifications Intermediate Word and Excel skills Excellent oral and written communication skills Desired Skills or Qualifications: Accounting degree Intermediate MS Excel and MS Word Certification; Well honed bookkeeping skills with above average communication skills Requires a keen eye for detail and proficiency in handling complex financial tasks.
