Job Summary
Job Title:Photovoltaic CAD Quality Control Specialist Overview:
The Photovoltaic CAD Quality Control Specialist is responsible for reviewing verifying and ensuring the accuracy and constructability of solar engineering deliverables. This role plays a critical part in maintaining quality standards and supporting cross-departmental communication to ensure successful project execution.
Key Responsibilities:
-Review engineering deliverables to identify and correct errors or inconsistencies.
-Verify that solar design plans are feasible for installation based on site survey photos and project specifications.
-Examine site survey photos to identify potential structural concerns (e.g. roof condition obstructions material issues).
-Assess site survey photos for potential electrical concerns (e.g. panel condition service equipment code compliance risks).
-Notify and update other departments upon receipt and review of deliverables.
-Perform minor edits and markups to deliverables using PDF editing software as needed.
Qualifications:
Duties/ Responsibilities: Manage and oversee the monitoring portals Utilize computerized systems to track and analyze solar systems Provide communications such as emailing or calling contractors for onsite visits as well as being able to RMA any equipment Utilize Google Suite and other software to assist with office tasks Act as solar systems monitor for all company clients and be able to walk them through their portal when they receive PTO Provide and analyze generated reports to recognize monitoring system errors and be able to troubleshoot remotely if possible

Requirements
Qualifications:
-Experience with photovoltaic system design drafting or quality control preferred.
-Strong attention to detail with the ability to identify technical issues.
-Familiarity with structural and electrical considerations for solar PV installations.
-Proficiency with PDF editing tools and basic CAD review.
-Strong organizational and communication skills to coordinate with multiple departments.
