Job Summary
At B&S we make sure our colleagues can work in a pleasant and safe environment. As a Facility Employee you play an important part in this. You are the one who keeps everything running smoothly: from well-functioning coffee machines to tidy workspaces and small technical repairs. Youre always on the move to make sure everything works perfectly!
Reach your full potential as a Facility Employee
Each day comes with new tasks and challenges. You start with a round through the building refill the coffee machines and handle any incoming requests. Sometimes its a broken lamp or adjusting a desk other times its maintenance of the bicycle parking area or helping with a small move. Together with your colleagues in the facilities team you keep the building clean safe and running smoothly.
This is what you can expect of the role
- Start your day with a round through the building to check what needs attention
- Refill and clean coffee machines
- Handle requests such as replacing a lamp adjusting a desk or moving a workspace
- Keep the building and outdoor areas tidy and safe
- Spot areas for improvement and discuss them with the team
- Work closely with the caretaker service desk and your colleagues in the facilities team
Qualifications :
This is you:
You have both practical and technical insight. If a friend needs help with a repair youre the first person they call. You like a challenge youre proactive and you work independently. Youre also flexible so you can switch easily between different tasks.
- MBO-level education and experience as a facility employee concierge or in a similar role
- Technical and practical insight able to work independently
- Service-minded and a good communicator with colleagues
- Hands-on: you see what needs to be done and take action right away
- Available for 40 hours per week
- Proficient in English
Additional Information :
We offer you
- A salary of maximim 2850 gross per month (based on full-time) depending on your experience plus a fixed Christmas bonus and a performance-based bonus
- Initially a one-year contract with the prospect of permanent employment
- 25 vacation days with the possibility to purchase additional days
- A travel allowance of up to 75 km on single trip travel when working at the office or an allowance if youre working remotely (from home)
