Location: Lagos
Job Responsibilities:
- Support the Senior Sous Chef and Executive Chef in kitchen management and operations.
- Supervise and coordinate activities of kitchen staff on assigned shifts.
- Ensure dishes are prepared cooked and presented to high quality standards.
- Maintain compliance with food safety sanitation and hygiene regulations.
- Train and support junior chefs ensuring continuous development of their skills.
- Monitor inventory storage and usage of ingredients to minimize waste.
- Assist in menu planning recipe standardization and cost control.
- Ensure timely service and smooth coordination with front-of-house staff.
- Step into the role of Senior Sous Chef in their absence when needed.
Job Requirements:
- Bachelor s degree in Catering Culinary Arts Hospitality Management or related field.
- Minimum of 2 years culinary experience.
- Strong understanding of various cuisines cooking methods and kitchen operations.
- Excellent leadership communication and problem-solving skills.
- Knowledge of food safety standards.
