Job Summary

Our client is a prestigious 5-star luxury hotel in Nigeria. Due to expansion they are in need of a Senior Sous Chef.

Location: Lagos

Job Responsibilities:
  • Support the Senior Sous Chef and Executive Chef in kitchen management and operations.
  • Supervise and coordinate activities of kitchen staff on assigned shifts.
  • Ensure dishes are prepared cooked and presented to high quality standards.
  • Maintain compliance with food safety sanitation and hygiene regulations.
  • Train and support junior chefs ensuring continuous development of their skills.
  • Monitor inventory storage and usage of ingredients to minimize waste.
  • Assist in menu planning recipe standardization and cost control.
  • Ensure timely service and smooth coordination with front-of-house staff.
  • Step into the role of Senior Sous Chef in their absence when needed.

Job Requirements:
  • Bachelor s degree in Catering Culinary Arts Hospitality Management or related field.
  • Minimum of 2 years culinary experience.
  • Strong understanding of various cuisines cooking methods and kitchen operations.
  • Excellent leadership communication and problem-solving skills.
  • Knowledge of food safety standards.
