As a Software Engineer you will have the responsibility to design develop and maintain software included in IFS Cloud. The work is focused on interpreting and analyzing functional and technical requirements to create fit-for-purpose and enterprise-grade software. Business value usability maintainability security and performance are key aspects of this work. 

The work will involve activities like: 

• Contribute to the full R&D lifecycle of our products including technical design development testing bug fixing documentation and 3rd line support. 

• Produce clear high-level design documentation for new features or enhancements and accurate development estimates. 

• Write robust high-quality documented code adhering to appropriate coding practices. 

• Participate in peer design and code reviews. 

• Technically test debug review and maintain software to ensure quality and stability of the code. 

• Collaborate with & proactively share knowledge guide and train colleagues. 

• Contribute to improvements in IFS products services and processes by actively engaging with colleagues requirement owners & other stakeholders.

Qualifications :

• Knowledge in planning and scheduling preferably with experience in Manufacturing industry.

• A degree in Software Engineering Computer Science or Information Technology

• Previous working experience with developing enterprise-grade software and/or domain knowledge of Manufacturing processes is a definite advantage 

• Knowledge in database concepts and techniques 

• Knowledge in quality assurance software security and performance 

• Effective communication and presentation skills

• Ability to work in distributed global team set up
