Our team will be focused on building out the foundation of our next-generation IFS Copperleaf product by developing our cloud-native containerized platform that powers our Azure-based decision analytics solutions. The platform infrastructure we build manages Oracle databases containers orchestrated by Kubernetes enables scalable storage and configures secure networking all within Azure. Youll be building not just a quality product but a quality system that ensures our platform is resilient performant and ready to support rapid feature delivery at enterprise scale.
We are seeking a meticulous and proactive QA Engineer to join our dynamic team. As our PlatOps QA Engineer you will ensure the quality and reliability of the cloud-native containerized platform were building on Azure. Youll own the end-to-end QA process manual and automated while embedding best practices into our pipelines and lifting the teams shift-left mindset.
As a Software Engineer Quality Assurance (PlatOps) you will be responsible for:
- Develop and maintain detailed test plans for each software release with an emphasis on containerized applications and platform-level components.
- Oversee the creation and execution of automated tests and unit tests by the development team including pipeline-driven SAST/DAST checks in Azure DevOps.
- Ensure that all features are thoroughly tested and meet required quality standards before release.
- Collaborate closely with Platform developers DevOps engineers and product owners to integrate QA processes into the development lifecycle.
- Monitor and report on the quality of the product through dashboards real-time alerts (e.g. via Application Insights) and regular status reviews.
- Identify document and track software defectsespecially those related to containerization performance and securityand ensure timely resolution.
- Assist in the creation and maintenance of QA testing infrastructure and tools.
- Conduct periodic ad hoc testingexploratory performance and chaos teststo uncover potential edge-case failures.
- Provide guidance and support to the development team on best practices for testing and quality assurance.
- Continuously improve QA processes and methodologies to enhance product quality scalability and reliability.
Qualifications :
- Bachelors degree in computer science Engineering or a related field.
- 4 years of experience as a QA Engineer or in a similar role.
- Strong understanding of software development and QA methodologies.
- Experience with test planning test case creation and test execution.
- Familiarity with automated testing tools and frameworks.
- Familiarity with Cloud Platforms like Azure and AWS.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Strong attention to detail and a commitment to delivering high-quality products.
- Ability to work effectively in a collaborative team environment.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
You are the perfect match if you also have experience in
- Experience with continuous integration and continuous deployment (CI/CD) processes.
- Knowledge of programming languages and scripting (e.g. Python JavaScript).
- Experience with performance and security testing.
