Job Summary
We are exclusively representing a fast-growing Dublin-based Microsoft Partner & MSP seeking a Senior Azure Engineer to lead Azure management cloud migrations and advanced infrastructure projects for their diverse client base.
This is a hands-on senior engineering role with significant project delivery and client-facing responsibility perfect for an Azure expert who enjoys owning solutions end-to-end.
What You ll Do
Azure Delivery & Management:
Design build and optimise Azure environments including hybrid setups and cloud migrations.
Implement advanced services: identity & access management governance automation and cost optimisation.
Deliver secure environments using MFA Conditional Access Defender and Sentinel.
Project Ownership:
Lead client onboarding infrastructure upgrades and migrations from scoping through go-live.
Act as a technical consultant producing clear roadmaps and solution recommendations.
Infrastructure & Networking:
Perform server builds and virtualisation projects (Hyper-V/VMware).
Configure networking (VLANs VPNs SD-WAN Wi-Fi deployments).
Manage firewalls and edge security solutions.
Escalation & MSP Operations:
Provide Tier 3 escalation support and guidance to the service desk.
Maintain documentation standards and improve MSP tooling/processes.
Requirements
About You
5 years experience working with an MSP or IT services provider as a Senior Azure or Level 3 Technical Support Engineer.
Expert-level knowledge of Azure design migrations and operations.
Strong background in infrastructure projects networking and security.
Skilled in Windows Server Active Directory Group Policy and firewall management.
Excellent troubleshooting ability and client-facing communication skills.
Confident leading projects from scoping to successful delivery.
Bonus points if you hold:
Microsoft Certified: Azure Solutions Architect / Azure Administrator
Microsoft Security Compliance & Identity certifications
CompTIA Security Cisco CCNA/CCNP
