Job Summary
- Negotiation of contracts and implementation and communication for one or multiple plants in the region
- Creation of savings potential synergies
- Driving improvement processes
- Securing delivery quantities
- Supplier communication
- Internal and external correspondence for the area of responsibility close communication with SCM SD R&D and Quality Department
- Supporting group-wide communication of market-relevant information
- Supporting global lead buyers with background information (trends)
Qualifications :
Minimum of 2 years Buying / Purchasing experience ideally in a manufacturing environment
Completing a range of tasks with different degrees of difficulty within agreed timescales.
Organising and prioritise a varied workload with minimum amount of supervision.
Respecting confidentiality.
Additional Information :
Good GCSEs and ideally A Levels or equivalent.
Buying qualification desirable .
Computer literacy (MS Office).
Interpersonal skills and verbal / non-verbal communication skills.
Time management and organizational skills.
Negotiation and facilitation.
