We are currently recruiting for a Ground and Tunnelling Engineer to join our busy and expanding experienced team. The team provides assessment concept feasibility preliminary and detailed designs on a wide range of Projects either as standalone ground & tunnelling commissions or as part of multidisciplinary major projects. You may have the opportunity to work on some of the most iconic Transportation projects being part of a diverse and multicultural team. It can be a great opportunity for a junior profile that wants to boost his/her professional technical career on the ground engineering and digital space.
Here is what you will do:
- Builds analytic and design skills.
- Conducts engineering design under the supervision of an
- experienced engineer.
- Creates designs calculations sketches diagrams schematic drawings and final working drawings under the supervision of an experienced engineer.
- Collects and analyzes data under the supervision of an experienced engineer.
- Uses computer software as a tool for solving basic engineering problems.
- Performs work in accordance with agreed upon budget and schedule under supervision.
Qualifications :
Heres what were looking for:
- Proven track record in the use of geotechnical data processing tools such as ArcGIS Leapfrog OpenGround and gINT for the preparation of mining and civil works geological / geotechnical models (> 2 years)
- Experience in the use of specific ground engineering and tunnelling software as Geoestudio / Plaxis / Rocscience
- Proven experience in site investigation planning and management.
- Experience delivering site investigation and characterization interpretative reports.
- Advanced level in CAD software (preferable AutoCAD and/or MicroStation).
- Experience working in the North America region / Australia will be considered favorably.
- Communicative level of English (oral and written)
Preferred Qualifications
- Bachelor or Master degree Geology/Engineering Geology from a recognized University
