Job Description
SEEKING: Senior Software Engineer (Java)
We are looking for a Senior Java Developer with strong experience in designing developing and maintaining robust enterprise-level applications. The ideal candidate will lead technical initiatives collaborate with cross-functional teams and ensure high-quality scalable solutions.
TASKS & RESPONSABILITIES
Design develop and maintain high-performance and scalable Java applications
Participate in technical requirements analysis and solution design
Mentor and support junior and mid-level developers
Write clean efficient and well-documented code following best practices
Conduct code reviews and enforce coding standards
Collaborate in release planning and effort estimations
Identify performance bottlenecks and implement effective solutions
Integrate with other systems and technologies via Rest APIS Message/Events Queues and Files Exchange.
EXPERIENCE KNOWLEDGE & SKILLS :
5 years of hands-on experience in Java development.
Strong knowledge of Java EE frameworks (e.g. Spring Boot Hibernate JPA).
Experience with relational databases (MySQL PostgreSQL Oracle) and NoSQL databases (ElasticSearch MongoDB).
Solid understanding of RESTful architecture and API design principles.
Strong understanding of asynchronous programming and messaging systems (RabbitMQ Kafka JMS MQ-Series etc)
Proficiency with version control systems (Git).
Familiarity with Agile methodologies (Scrum Kanban).
Strong teamwork and communication skills
Nice to Have:
Experience with microservices architecture
DevOps knowledge (Concourse Kubernetes EKS).
Experience with cloud platforms (AWS).
Familiarity with monitoring tools or logging (ELK Dynatrace etc.)
Awareness of security best practices in software development
Understanding of financial services concepts and ISO-20022
LANGUAGE :
Fluent in Spanish and English- (minimum B2 level )

Full-time Freelance contract
Rate: 220/ 230 per day VAT (according to the experience provided)
