Job Description: As the Director OS&E/FF&E Procurement Luxury & Lifestyle based out of our Toronto offices and reporting to Executive Director Procurement North America you will play a pivotal role in shaping the strategic sourcing landscape within these vibrant segments. Operating as part of Accors global Luxury & Lifestyle Procurement team you will lead strategy development orchestrate relationships with top-tier suppliers and spearhead cost-effective procurement strategies tailored to the unique demands of our Luxury & Lifestyle hotel operations. This role offers a distinct opportunity to influence the procurement domain within these categories and redefine the luxury & lifestyle hospitality experience.
This role will directly support Accors Luxury & Lifestyle Division bringing together Accors luxury brands as well as the Groups lifestyle entity Ennismore and covering 500 hotels globally and 300 new properties in development. This division focused on Luxury and Lifestyle is structured by brand around 4 pillars: Raffles & Orient Express Fairmont Sofitel & MGallery and Ennismore. We are committed to strengthening the identities of these iconic brands investing in top talents selecting the best locations and offering unique and innovative experiences.
Key Responsibilities:
- Segment-Specific Sourcing: Develop and execute strategic sourcing plans specifically tailored for the OS&E/FF&E rooms and services categories ensuring the highest standards of quality service and sustainability are consistently met.
- Exclusive Vendor Partnerships: Cultivate and maintain strategic relationships with premium suppliers across OS&E/FF&E rooms and services industries crafting advantageous agreements that align with Accors stringent quality and service expectations.
- Cost Excellence: Identify opportunities to optimize costs without compromising the premium experience within these segments and identify performance improvement opportunities.
- Risk Mitigation: Develop and implement strategies to mitigate risks associated with procurement activities thereby safeguarding brand reputation and guest satisfaction.
- Tailored Contract Management: Oversee the negotiation evaluation and management of supplier contracts to uphold Accors reputation for premium and exclusive experiences.
- Market Intelligence: Stay attuned to evolving trends market dynamics and innovative technologies leveraging these insights to drive innovation and elevate guest experiences.
- Sustainability: Champion initiatives that align with Accors commitment to environmental and social responsibility while maintaining the highest level of premium standards.
- Cross-functional Synergy: Collaborate closely with other departments particularly the brand marketing and hotel operations teams to ensure seamless alignment with Accors business objectives and the realization of the brands unique vision.
Up to 10% travel in the region and internationally may be required
Qualifications :
- Bachelors degree in Business Supply Chain Hospitality Management or a related field; Masters degree preferred.
- 10 years of progressive experience in procurement sourcing or supply chain management ideally within hospitality luxury goods or lifestyle brands.
- Proven expertise in OS&E and/or FF&E procurement vendor management and contract negotiation at a regional or global scale.
- Strong financial acumen with demonstrated ability to drive cost optimization while upholding luxury brand standards.
- Experience leading strategic partnerships with high-end suppliers and fostering long-term value-driven relationships.
- Knowledge of sustainability practices and responsible sourcing in line with global ESG standards.
- Excellent communication influencing and stakeholder management skills across diverse cultures and geographies.
- Strong analytical and market research skills with the ability to identify emerging trends and translate them into procurement strategies.
- Ability to work cross-functionally with brand operations and corporate teams in a fast-paced global environment.
- Demonstrated leadership with the ability to manage complex projects and deliver results under tight timelines.
