Our People team is looking for a SAP Payroll Design Lead in our People Services team based in Mt Waverley VIC.

Join our team in a lead role where youll support system enhancements that improve efficiency reduce manual effort and complexity and help ensure compliance across a national SAP Payroll environment. Youll lead the design and delivery of streamlined automated and compliant solutions while maintaining a strong governance framework to safeguard obligations protect organisational reputation and enhance the employee experience.

What Will You Do

Leading a small team and fostering a customer-focused continuous improvement culture you will:

• lead and enhance the SAP Payroll Governance Framework ensuring compliance with legislation policies and industrial instruments
• engage stakeholders to gather and validate system requirements aligned with governance and business controls
• analyse complex employment conditions to advise on payroll impacts and recommend streamlined standardised solutions
• identify and mitigate payroll system risks to maintain compliance and avoid disruption
• oversee SAP Payroll changes and projects using formal project management approaches
• manage payroll audits ensuring timely resolution of findings and implementation of actions
• maintain accurate documentation tools and workflows that support governance and operational needs

More About You

Youre an experienced SAP Payroll systems leader with a strong understanding of compliance system optimisation and stakeholder engagement. You will bring:

• deep expertise in SAP Payroll and HR configuration including Australian payroll legislation and enterprise agreement application
• proven ability to lead governance frameworks and system change initiatives
• sound analytical and problem-solving skills with a focus on risk reduction and continuous improvement
• excellent stakeholder management and communication skills including the ability to translate complex terms into system solutions.
