Successful candidates will be providing supports to cover NDIS participants living in the following areas (depending on where you live) Maitland Newcastle Lake Macquarie Port Stephens and surrounding areas.
We will provide you with a bucket load of structured supervision mentoring and CPD opportunities. We promise to invest in you so you can thrive in our fast-paced energetic and fun workplace. No two days are ever the same! You might find us in childcare centres schools aged care facilities day programs the community homes and/or our clinic space. Responsibilities will include:
- Manage an allocated caseload (based on your negotiated hours) and deliver timely therapeutic services
- Assess participants developmental cognitive emotional psychological and physical function and capacity through clinical observations and standardised assessments
- Interpret findings to formulate treatment goals unique to each participant
- Provide evidence-based therapeutic interventions to help participants enhance their quality of life and meet their goals
- Mentor and nurture early career clinicians
- Maintain awareness of current legislation to ensure compliance

Qualifications :
To be successful in this role you will have:
- Current registration with AHPRA as an Occupational Therapist
- Excellent time management and organisational skills to manage a varied caseload
- A pro-active attitude and interest in continually developing your skills
- Experience in mentoring and supervising other Occupational Therapists
- A genuine passion for working in the disability sector
