Our Outside School Hours Care service Coomera State School Helping Hands is looking for a passionate Casual Educator to assist the service and provide engaging programs for our primary-age children.
You will work across split shifts to support the services operating hours of Monday Friday 6:00am 9:00am (Rise then Shine Program) and 3:00pm 6:15pm (Stay and Play Program). You can pick up extra hours during the school holidays.
About the role
Working in a team of Educators you will have support of a Coordinator to seamlessly run before and after school care for children aged 5-12 years:
- Facilitate an engaging child-centered program full of exciting experiences such as STEM sport cooking art and craft - whatever you and the children are into!
- Foster healthy relationships with children the school community and parents
- Work with a team of skilled Educators onsite

Qualifications :
While were happy to provide training and guidance in the role and sector here are a few qualities were looking for:
- A genuine love for working with children.
- Strong communication skills both verbal and written.
- A team player with aspirations to take on leadership opportunities.
- Hold or be willing to obtain a national police check (which we will cover!) and a state working-with-children check.
- Must have valid Australian work rights.
- A relevant qualification in childrens services or working towards one (per ACECQA guidelines).
