A National Audiovisual Distributor is seeking an experienced Sr. Business Development Executive with strong experience in the remote intercom space across various vertical markets. We dont just sell products we build lasting relationships with our partners and their clients.
We are looking for an ambitious dynamic experienced and results-driven Business Development Manager to expand market presence and accelerate revenue growth. The ideal candidate will be responsible for identifying new business opportunities nurturing client relationships and developing strategies to achieve sales goals. This role requires strong business acumen networking skills and the ability to communicate value-driven solutions to clients not to mention at least 5 years of experience selling to the Pro-Audio and Live Broadcast markets.
Role and Responsibilities
The National BDM will be responsible for developing and managing sales strategies and achieving sales targets. This role requires a strategic thinker with excellent leadership skills and a proven track record in sales management.
- Develop and implement effective sales strategies to achieve company sales goals and revenue targets. (See qualifications below)
- Report directly to the CEO.
- Monitor and analyze sales performance metrics to identify areas for improvement.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with key clients and stakeholders.
- Evaluate and recommend new dealers and resellers and collaborate with leadership to onboard them into company systems.
- Manage client relationships to ensure long-term success and growth.
- Conduct market research to identify new business opportunities and stay updated on industry trends.
- Collaborate with the marketing team to develop promotional strategies and campaigns.
- Work closely with operations to ensure alignment between sales and customer service goals through ongoing communication with dealers resellers and vendors.
- Partner with the support team to ensure alignment between sales and product support goals.
Requirements
Qualifications and Education Requirements
- 5 years proven experience in Business Development Sales Management or Account Management in the Pro-Audio and Live Broadcast markets. (Live Events House of Worships Convention Centers Professional Sport Leagues College Sports K-12 Design/Consultant Companies and Rental & Staging Companies)
- Proven track record of achieving or exceeding sales targets.
- Strong understanding of industry focus: lighting electrical systems technology services etc..
- Strong leadership and team management skills.
- Excellent communication negotiation presentation and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to build lasting client relationships and foster trust.
- Ability to analyze sales data and make informed decisions.
- Self-motivated with strong analytical and critical thinking skills.
- Proficiency in CRM software and Microsoft Office Suite.
- Strong organisational and time management skills.
Job Requirements: Advanced knowledge and hands-on experience with QCS controls, Biamp, Audio DSP, Shure and Intelix. Great to have: AVPro Edge and Visionary Solutions for VoIP / switchers Advanced knowledge and hands-on experience with AV equipment Advanced knowledge of TCP/IP networking, switches, routers, firewalls are preferred. Advanced working knowledge of computers (Windows-based) and software. Maintain a positive attitude, strong work ethic, and embrace a team-centric environment. Ability to read, analyze, and interpret complex documents including product specifications, wiring diagrams, and architectural drawings. Ability to respond effectively to sensitive customer inquiries or complaints. Strong interpersonal and communication skills are required. Valid driver s license with minimum 3-year clean driving record. Infocomm CTS certification (within 6 months of employment start) & CTS-I within 12 months Maintain and/or acquire OSHA 10 Hr construction within 3 months from employment start.
