Job Summary
Job Description:
We are seeking a highly skilled Lead Heavy Equipment Mechanic to join our team in Etna WY. The ideal Technician will have a strong background in diagnosing and repairing a wide range of heavy construction equipment ensuring machinery safety and efficiency.
Responsibilities:
- Diagnose and repair various types of heavy equipment including bulldozers excavators loaders and cranes.
- Perform routine maintenance and preventive services on heavy equipment to ensure optimal performance.
- Troubleshoot mechanical electrical and hydraulic issues using diagnostic tools and equipment.
- Conduct thorough inspections to identify and address potential problems before they lead to equipment failure.
- Maintain a clean and organized work environment adhering to safety standards and protocols.
- Keep accurate records of maintenance and repairs performed.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Certification from a recognized technical school or program is preferred.
- Proven experience as a heavy equipment mechanic.
- Strong diagnostic and problem-solving skills.
- Proficiency with mechanical electrical and hydraulic systems.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Excellent communication and customer service skills.
- Valid drivers license.
