Health Club Receptionist
Responsible for greeting members and guests managing front desk operations answering inquiries and providing a welcoming atmosphere. The role involves administrative duties customer service and ensuring the cleanliness and orderliness of the reception area.
- Greet and welcome members and guests as they arrive.
- Provide information about the clubs facilities programs and services.
- Address and resolve member inquiries complaints and issues promptly and courteously.
- Answer phone calls emails and other communications.
- Schedule appointments and manage bookings for classes personal training sessions and other services.
- Process membership applications renewals and cancellations.
- Maintain and update member records in the clubs database.
- Ensure the reception area is clean organized and presentable at all times.
- Monitor and maintain inventory of office supplies brochures and promotional materials.
- Monitor access to the club ensuring only authorized individuals enter.
- Enforce club policies and procedures to maintain a safe and secure environment.
- Respond to emergencies and assist with evacuation procedures if necessary.
Qualifications :
- Previous experience in a customer service or receptionist role preferably in a health club or fitness center.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and familiarity with member management software.
- Ability to multitask and handle stressful situations calmly and efficiently.
- Friendly outgoing and professional demeanor.
- Basic knowledge of health and fitness is an advantage.
