Job Summary
Primary Title: Video Editor Intern
Industry: Technology & digital media services (remote content production for SaaS marketing and product teams). We create video-first content that supports product launches marketing campaigns user education and social growth across global platforms.
Location: Remote India (work-from-home internship with flexible hours).
About the Opportunity
Join a fast-moving tech-led digital media team as a Video Editor Intern and help turn raw footage screen recordings and multimedia assets into polished high-engagement video experiences. You will work closely with producers content strategists and designers to produce social marketing and educational videos optimized for web and mobile platforms.
Role & Responsibilities
- Edit short-form and long-form video content from raw footage assemble scenes refine pacing and ensure narrative clarity for social and web use.
- Create motion-graphic elements and lower-thirds using After Effects or templates to support branding and storytelling.
- Perform color correction basic grading and audio cleanup (noise reduction leveling) and deliver broadcast/web-ready masters with correct export settings.
- Generate captions/subtitles format aspect ratios (9:16 1:1 16:9) and produce platform-optimized versions (Reels Shorts YouTube).
- Manage project assets maintain organized timelines and follow version control and delivery checklists to meet deadlines.
- Collaborate with producers and feedback loops iterate quickly on revisions and implement creative direction from the team.
Skills & Qualifications
Must-Have
- Proven editing skills using Adobe Premiere Pro or Final Cut Pro; working portfolio or showreel linking to relevant projects.
- Basic motion-graphics ability in Adobe After Effects (templates keyframing text animation).
- Understanding of color correction & basic grading plus audio editing for clean mixes and voice clarity.
- Familiarity with social-video formats (9:16 1:1 16:9) export codecs bitrate considerations and platform requirements.
- Strong sense of pacing storytelling visual composition and attention to detail.
- Reliable remote-work habits clear communication skills and ability to meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
Preferred
- Experience with DaVinci Resolve for grading or advanced color work.
- Past internships freelance client work or campaign-based editing experience focused on social growth.
- Knowledge of motion-design principles LUTs and basic graphic design (Photoshop/Illustrator).
