Job Summary

At L&G our Corporate Affairs function brings together external communications employee engagement brand sustainability social media and public affairs. Were looking for a proactive and organised Business Manager to join our team and help drive transformation financial planning and operational excellence across the function. This is a great opportunity to work at the heart of a dynamic and purpose-led organisation supporting impactful projects and collaborating with a wide range of stakeholders.

What youll be doing:

  • Supporting the project management of strategic workstreams across Corporate Affairs
  • Managing financial planning and budget tracking to drive cost efficiency
  • Communicating effectively with stakeholders to support decision-making
  • Enabling compliance with governance procurement finance and risk procedures
  • Sharing knowledge and ideas to improve performance and governance
  • Coordinating project planning scheduling and reporting activities
  • Managing risks and resolving issues to ensure successful project delivery
  • Ensuring communications meet regulatory standards and are clear fair and compliant

Qualifications :

Who were looking for:

  • Experience in a similar role with strong project management capabilities
  • Knowledge of financial planning and budget management principles
  • Ability to grasp complex concepts and data with excellent attention to detail
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills across all levels
  • Confidence in managing multiple projects and competing priorities
  • Analytical mindset with good competency in data and reporting
  • Excellent time management and organisational skills
  • Collaborative approach with strong interpersonal and influencing skills
