Job Summary
The team at New Zealand Couriers are looking for a positive enthusiastic person to join our fleet on a fixed term agreement within the Mangere region while we undertake run structural changes to the area.
This is a FIXED TERM position and is not a permanent position. This fixed term is for approximately 13 weeks with work available until Friday 19 December 2025.
This position is challegning it requires you to be at our East Tamaki depot every morning rain or shine at 5.30am - If this doesnt sound like you then please do not apply.

- Full training provided
- Mon-Fri 5.30am - 5.00pm (55 Hours per week)
- No Weekendwork required
- Pay Rate: $27.50 per hour 8% Holiday pay (Paid weekly)
You must have transportation to / from EAST TAMAKI for this role as you will start and end your day at our EAST TAMAKI Branch.
Duties include:
- Driving an automatic transmission Ford Transit high top van.
- Picking up and delivering freight in the Mangere region
- Assisting with urgent deliveries and depot duties if/where required.
The ideal applicant will:
- Must be able to confidently drive a large (Ford Transit or similar) automatic transmission van.
- Have a full clean driver licence.
- Have confident communication skills.
- Have geographic knowledge of the South Aucklandregion/suburbs.
- Have previous freight experience (not essential).
- Be able to manage a diverse range of duties.
- Flexible and adaptable.
- Be physically fit Some heavy & repetitive lifting required (up to 25kg).
- No prior injuries.
- Reliable Punctual and Honest.
