Newbury Elementary School is seeking a Registered Behavior Technician (RBT). Essential Duties & Responsibilities:Assist in delivering behavior-analytic services and practice under the direction and close supervision of a BCBACollaborate with team members to determine which modifications accommodations and assessment approaches are necessary to allow students to succeed;Work with a team to support students in an academic environment;Collect data across different skills and behaviors on a daily basis;Assist the BCBA in implementing behavioral programming;Document the progress and/or concerns of students and seek the assistance of additional district specialists as required;Perform other duties that may be assigned by the building principal or Director of Student ServicesPrevious experience working with students with autism developmental psychiatric and/or behavioral issuesTherapeutic experience or another highly experienced therapeutic support roleWorking knowledge of positive therapeutic methods and practicesExperience with behavior managementData collection experience is strongly to work effectively with teachers support staff and parents and advocate for children in order to effectively problem solveStrong interpersonal communication and organizational skills and ability to work with all stakeholdersBelief in the commitment to increasing personal growth both academic and social-emotional to obtain the highest level of achievement for every student.
