Strategy & Transformation

Brief Overview:

The Index Operations team manages the daily activities for calculation of 1500 thematic and custom indices for the iEdge business. This involves data management of static referential databases and dynamic market data feeds corporate actions and exchange holidays across global markets.

Learning Objectives:

The selected intern will gain exposure to the operational framework of managing various financial datasets such as equities futures indices bonds and FX; as well as specialized topics such as Active and Passive Investing Thematic and Smart Beta strategies.

Job Description:

• Onboarding: Work with the team to plan coordinate and onboard new indices to our cloud based system

• Development: Suggest and develop systematic solutions with the help of new technological tools to enhance operational resiliency and scalability of daily tasks

• Support: Help resolve any queries or issues that might arise from clients

Knowledge and Skills requirements:

• Basic understanding of financial markets and products (must)
• Passionate result oriented and good team player (must)
• Strong analytical and problem solving skills (must)
• Able to work under minimal supervision
• Demonstrate strong interpersonal and communication skills
• Good command of MS Excel (Formulas VBA Power Query) and Python
