About the Role:
This Senior Project Manager role will lead IT -driven projects in US healthcare Payer space. It providesan exciting career path into the Project Management family of jobs within the Abacus Client DeliveryProgram Management Office. You will have the opportunity to work on information technology projectswithin the US healthcare payer industry building powerful skills knowledge and experience for yourcareer at the intersection of IT and healthcare. You will have the opportunity to gain this experience onprojects where cutting edge cloud-based technologies are being deployed and within a dynamic andfast-growing company.
You Will:
Manage end-to-end delivery of individual large-scale projects or multiple smaller projectsensuring timelines scope and quality are consistently achieved
Coordinate closely with Engagement PMs to translate client requirements into clear deliveryobjectives and milestones
Implement project governance frameworks including RAID logs status reporting andstakeholder communication
Conduct detailed resource planning capacity management and risk assessments
Champion Agile methodologies within assigned projects; ensure backlog refinement and sprintexecution quality
Facilitate regular status meetings ensuring accurate project health reporting and timely riskmitigation
What Were Looking For:
8 years experience in technically complex IT project / program management roles
Experience in technically complex IT project management roles
Professional experience in IT project management roles
Experience in healthcare related project management payer experience ideal
Agile Methodologies experience
Experience in healthcare related project management payer experience ideal
Experience in hands on technical roles e.g. programming data modeling software qualityassurance etc.
Strong Oral and written communication skills
Bonus Points:
US Healthcare experience with healthcare payer experience
Project Management Professional (PMP) or Prince2 certification
Certified Scrum Master
