Sr. Program Manager will be responsible for leading a large strategically-critical project or projects to ensure timelines and goals are met/communicated as they relate and support the Trauma & Extremities implementation of the Accelerate Program which will implement a new complex Enterprise Requirement Planning (ERP) system for three critical divisions of addition to managing a variety of Subject Matter Experts (SMEs) and stakeholders to deliver the agreed upon solution you will be responsible for Change Management activities including Stakeholder assessment communication plans change impact assessments and ensuring that impacted teams successfully navigate through the change curve once the program has been delivered.
This PM role is a vital part of the Accelerate Program team responsible for delivering a new ERP solution as well as other transformational initiatives that are not only crucial for the success of the Division but also imperative to the organizational efficiency and profitability of Stryker as a whole. This role requires you to work closely with Division and Business Unit leadership / SMEs across T&E Joint Replacement (JR) and Spine as well as the Accelerate program teams to ensure project objectives are appropriate required project resources (budget and people) are allocated and project risks are mitigated.
What you will do:
- Develop program charters and management plans. Direct manage monitor and control programs. Identify optimize and maintain inter-program synergy. Evaluate tradeoffs across programs.
- Be a change leader and advocate for the Accelerate program across Stryker.
- Develop optimize and manage timelines. Analyze and address critical path major workstreams intersecting milestones. Own the program schedule.
- Create program budgets with cross-functional managers and directors. Optimize monitor and maintain costs within budget. Drive project cost efficiencies.
- Partner with project teams to create program Quality Plans using a multitude of quality planning tools and techniques. Monitor and maintain plans.
- Develop a risk management plan for the program(s). Identify analyze and understand project risks develop and monitor a risk response plan.
- Estimate acquire and assign resources. Define roles responsibilities and deliverables for each team member. Provide direct feedback to functional managers and directors on performance reviews.Coach and mentor team members and functional managers.
- Own Change Management plans in conjunction with business and Accelerate Change Management (CM) team.Develop stakeholder strategies for the effective management across broad range of expectations and requirements. Develop and execute communications management plan for program teams and key stakeholders.Create and influence best practices for divisional communications management.
- Responsible for effective meeting management and group facilitation activities for programs/projects in scope.
Required Qualifications:
- BS or equivalent (MS and/or MBA preferred) and 10 years of work experience
- Proven experience leading large complex cross-functional programs ideally within highly regulated or global organizations
Preferred Qualifications (Strongly desired):
- Familiarity with training delivery coordination (e.g. identifying trainers supporting learning labs) and change management best practices.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Project Smartsheet or other project management tools with flexibility to leverage preferred applications.
- PMP or PgMP or equivalent preferred
- $100500 - $215300 salary plus bonus eligible benefits. Individual pay is based on skills experience and other relevant factors.
Travel Percentage: 20%
