Position Title: High School Main Office Secretary/RegistrarPosition Summary:The High School Main Office Secretary/Registrar provides essential administrative and student record management support ensuring the smooth operation of the high school office. This role serves as the primary point of contact for students families staff and visitors while maintaining accurate academic records including transcripts and report cards. The position requires strong organizational communication and interpersonal skills along with the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced school Responsibilities:Manage and maintain student records in compliance with district state and federal and distribute report cards and graduation verifications; ensure record and update student academic records including grades credits schedules and transcripts. Maintain official transcripts and process transcript requests for students alumni colleges and the quarterly posting of report cards and ensure all grade changes are accurately processed and documented in a timely manner. Point of contact in the main office; greet and assist students families staff and screen and direct calls; respond to inquiries and provide attendance records clerical documentation and school administrative support to the assistant principalsUphold confidentiality of all student and staff information in accordance with FERPA and district additional duties as assigned to support school administrative duties around 504 meetingsQualifications:Strong organizational communication and interpersonal with Student Information Systems (SIS) and office to maintain strict confidentiality and handle sensitive information experience in school administration or student records management preferred.
