Full Time Fixed Term Post
35 hours per week
Currently a vacancy exists for a Medical Secretary Post to provide secretarial/administrative support to a consultant based at Kerry Clinic Bon Secours Hospital Tralee Co. Kerry
Requirements for the post:
A minimum of two years secretarial/administrative experience is essential.
The candidate should have a good knowledge and experience of using medical terminology.
Previous experience in a healthcare setting desirable.
Qualification in a recognised medical secretarial training course is desirable.
Audio typing experience for patient correspondence and reports is essential.
A good working general knowledge of private health insurance claims and billing is desirable.
Excellent interpersonal organisational and computer skills are essential.
Be self motivated and have the ability to work independently using their own initiative.
