Job Summary

Datadog is seeking a highly organized and detailed-oriented Field Marketing Manager who is enthusiastic about event planning thrives in a demanding environment and is committed to delivering exceptional client-facing experiences. As a member of the NAMER Field Marketing team you will be responsible for planning managing and executing Datadogs presence at a diverse portfolio of will collaborate with cross-functional teams including Marketing Sales Product Executive IT and more to bring our events to life and deliver exceptional high-impact programs that align with our brand and business objectives.

What Youll Do

  • Constantly looking for opportunities to innovate moving beyond typical B2B marketing playbooks to unlock ROI.
  • Gain a comprehensive understanding of our products market position competition partner network sales cycle and ideal customer profile (ICP).
  • Work cross functionally to plan and manage logistics for a variety of events throughout the Central region.
  • Work with vendors to negotiate contracts organize logistics and execute production.
  • Collaborate with internal stakeholders to ensure all events are on strategy brand and budget.
  • Manage and maximize your field marketing budget ensuring all events are executed in a timely manner and within budget.
  • Evaluate and report on event ROI including post-event tracking detailed wrap-up reports and developing actionable recommendations for future events.
  • Cultivate and maintain relationships with event organizers vendors internal/external stakeholders.
  • Develop and nurture internal Datdogs business relationships to align event strategies with team / organizational goals

Who You Are

  • 2-3 years experience in field marketing or event marketing event management
  • Exceptional attention to detail strong organizational skills and a process-driven approach to problem-solving.
  • Proactive mindset with the ability to take initiative and anticipate needs adapting quickly in a fast-paced environment.
  • Proven ability to successfully manage multiple tasks and plan and execute multiple events simultaneously while meeting deadlines
  • Strong work ethic excelling in both self-directed work and collaborative environments with a consistently positive team player approach.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills with the ability to present ideas thoughtfully and clearly to influence and collaborate effectively across all levels of the organization.
  • Ability to travel up to 50% of the time.
